Last Updated: August 6, 2026
The information and experiences offered by Hearts of Healing Center (“HOHC”) are intended to support personal exploration, relaxation, self-awareness, spiritual growth, community connection, and general well-being.
They are not medical or mental-health treatment.
NOT MEDICAL CARE
HOHC, Laura Wall, and other HOHC facilitators do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical or mental-health conditions unless a particular provider expressly identifies separate professional licensure and services in writing.
9D Breathwork, meditation, Reiki, coaching, women’s circles, retreats, AromaFreedom, and other wellness practices are not substitutes for:
• Medical evaluation or treatment
• Mental-health counseling or psychotherapy
• Psychiatric care
• Medication
• Emergency services
• Advice from an appropriately licensed healthcare professional
Do not disregard, delay, or discontinue professional care because of information found on this website or an experience offered through HOHC.
EMERGENCIES AND CRISIS SUPPORT
HOHC does not provide emergency or crisis services.
If you believe you may harm yourself or another person, are experiencing a medical emergency, or need immediate assistance, call 911 or your local emergency number.
In the United States, you may call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
BREATHWORK RISKS
Breathwork can produce physical, emotional, and psychological responses. Depending on the practice and the individual, these may include:
• Lightheadedness or dizziness
• Tingling or changes in physical sensation
• Muscle tension or temporary cramping
• Changes in breathing or heart rate
• Emotional intensity, crying, anger, fear, or unexpected memories
• Fatigue, sensitivity, or temporary discomfort
• Feelings of altered awareness or disorientation
Experiences vary, and no particular result is guaranteed.
CONTRAINDICATIONS AND HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
Activating or intensive breathwork may not be appropriate for everyone.

• Recent surgery or significant physical injury
• Glaucoma, retinal detachment, or serious eye conditions

This list is not exhaustive. Different breathwork journeys may vary in intensity and suitability.
You are responsible for accurately disclosing relevant health information through the requested intake process and for obtaining appropriate professional guidance before participating.
Please review the Contraindications and Safety and should you have any questions, please consult your doctor to confirm if 9D Breathwork is right for you.
MEDICATIONS AND SUBSTANCES
Do not discontinue or change prescribed medication because of a HOHC experience without consulting the licensed professional who prescribed it.
Do not participate while impaired by alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that may affect your ability to understand instructions, regulate your breathing, provide informed consent, or participate safely.
MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH
Breathwork and other experiential wellness practices can bring emotions, memories, and sensations into awareness. HOHC does not represent these experiences as psychotherapy or trauma treatment.
Individuals with significant trauma histories, unstable mental-health symptoms, recent crises, or limited support should consult a licensed mental-health professional before participating.
Participation is not a substitute for counseling, trauma therapy, psychiatric treatment, or crisis support.
PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY
By choosing to participate, you are responsible for:
• Listening to your body
• Following facilitator instructions
• Adjusting or stopping the practice when needed
• Choosing a gentler breathing pattern if you experience discomfort
• Informing the facilitator promptly if you feel unwell or unsafe
• Seeking appropriate medical or mental-health care when needed
• Providing accurate information on intake and consent forms
You may pause or stop participating at any time.
VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION
When participating virtually, you are responsible for creating a physically safe, private, and comfortable environment.
Do not participate while driving, operating machinery, in water, or in any setting where altered breathing, emotional release, lying down, or reduced awareness of your surroundings could create a safety risk.
Virtual participants should have a working communication device, stable internet access, and a way to contact local emergency services if necessary.
RETREATS AND TRAVEL
Travel, outdoor activities, excursions, and retreat experiences involve risks separate from breathwork. Participants are responsible for evaluating their ability to travel and participate, obtaining appropriate medical and travel insurance, following local laws and safety guidance, and disclosing relevant needs before participation.
HOHC cannot guarantee the availability or quality of medical care at a retreat destination.
RESULTS AND TESTIMONIALS
Testimonials and client stories reflect individual experiences. They do not represent typical or guaranteed outcomes.
HOHC does not promise that a session, program, retreat, or wellness practice will resolve a medical condition, mental-health concern, trauma, relationship difficulty, financial challenge, or other personal circumstance.
Results vary from person to person.
